A low cost opportunity to have boys middle & high school volleyball teams as school recognized clubs in Kansas & Missouri with minimal school administrative help needed.

Long Term Goal


Boys high school volleyball recognized and included as a MSHSAA/KSHSAA sanctioned sport. MSHSAA sanctioned boys volleyball starting in the Spring of 2024. Please sign and share this petition to help get boys volleyball sanctioned in Kansas (KSHSAA).

League Info


League Fee Covers:

  • Insurance: Liability (Facility) & Sports Accident Insurance
  • Scheduling: Matches & Tournaments
  • Ref Assigning: Scheduling & Paying Officials
  • Insurance: Liability (Facility) & Sports Accident Insurance

League Format:

  • Practices: Each team sets their own practice schedule
  • Tournaments: All tournaments made available are optional and are an additional cost
  • Games: Games will be scheduled one or two nights a week and will typically be tri-match format
  • Length of Season: Games are typically scheduled from the last week of March through the first week of May

Teams:

  • Number of Teams: Schools can sign up as many teams as they wish in the league.  They will need to designate which division each team will participate in: Varsity, Junior Varsity, or Middle School. With MSHSAA sanctioning boys volleyball at the high school level, only teams from Kansas will be accepted into the league. Missouri and Kansas middle school teams will be accepted.
  • Player Eligibility:
    • High School League: 7th-12th grade – All high school players must attend the same high school to participate on the same team. 7th& 8th grade player are eligible if the school needs or wants them, but they must attend a middle school that feeds into that high school.
    • Middle School League: 4th-8th grade – All middle school players must attend the same middle school to participate on the same team. 4th & 5th graders must attend an elementary school that feeds into the middle school.  Middle schools can combine to create a team but must receive league approval first.
  • Roster Size: There is no limit to your roster size.10-12 players is an ideal roster size & running two teams is encouraged if your program has a minimum of 16 players.

Game Day Logistics:

  • Tri-matches: 3 teams at one location (match times – 6:00, 7:00, & 8:00 PM unless otherwise specified)
  • Tris & Quads are best 2 out of 3 sets. Duals are best 3 out of 5 sets
